We have a German JAR-FCL flight instructor available in El Paso who is able to provide a German
Flight Review (Überprüfungsflug mit Fluglehrer), while you train here. El Paso is an ideal location for
foreign pilots looking to train in the United States with great flying weather for most of the year. We are
located in the southwest United States, right on the border of Mexico, Texas and New Mexico. El Paso
is within 550 nautical miles of San Diego, CA; Corpus Christi, Texas; Dallas, Texas;Denver, Colorado;
Las Vegas, Nevada. Long Beach, California is about 575 nautical miles. The Grand Canyon is only
about 250 nautical miles. All these locations are within an easy one day flight from El Paso. We can
either include these destinations in your training or give you an airplane check out and prepare you to fly
to these destinations.
In addition there are vacation spots in Mexico that are an easy one day flight from El Paso and we can
assist you in filing the necessary paperwork to fly to these destinations. Some of our airplanes are
approved for flights into Mexico.
You can get checked out in a number of different airplanes depending on your budget and needs.
It is important that you contact us ahead of time so we can plan your trip according to your needs and
take care of as much of the check out paper work ahead of time. If you have a German pilot certificate
and need a United States pilot certificate we can help you arrange the arrange the paper work for it prior
to your arrival.
